Biography
Marisa Edmonds is a research assistant in the Bartels Lab at the UK Dementia Research Institute at UCL, where she contributes to the development of novel diagnostic tools for neurodegenerative diseases, including Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple System Atrophy, and Dementia with Lewy Bodies. She has a background in biochemistry and molecular neuroscience and is committed to advancing collaborative, cross-disciplinary research that bridges lab-based science with clinical impact. Marisa is particularly passionate about fostering inclusive research environments and enhancing communication between researchers at all career stages.
