Biography

Roles and responsibilities: Support Centres in creating and measuring actionable steps to drive positive impact within the Institute - particularly for under-represented groups. Develop, implement, and refine an evidence-based Research Inclusion Strategy, ensuring research inclusion initiatives are impactful, measurable, and aligned with broader UK DRI’s KPIs. Manage and provide regular reports on activities, aligned with Research Inclusion survey data, to highlight improvements and areas for focus. Foster a skills-recognised culture - from data gathering to unlocking potential - future-proofing skills, research, and lifelong employability for researchers. 

Michele joined the UK DRI Core Team in July 2025 as Research Inclusion Manager bringing with her a wealth of experience in designing leadership development programmes - from future leaders to executives - across the energy, defence, and retail industries, with organisations of up to 27,000 employees. Michele has held senior roles within people functions, where she has developed and implemented wellbeing, coaching, EDI, apprenticeship, and learning strategies to drive organisational growth and employee engagement.

Michele’s qualifications include a Level 5 Associate Diploma in Organisational Learning & Development (CIPD), a dual-accredited ILM Level 7 in Executive and Senior Level Coaching and Mentoring, and accreditations in 360 Feedback and Insights Discovery.
