Biography

Mirriam Domocos earned her undergraduate degree in Applied Medical Sciences from University College London (UCL) in 2024 and continued her studies with a Master of Science by Research in Physiology, Anatomy and Genetics (DPAG) at the University of Oxford. At the Salman Lab, she studied blood–brain barrier dysfunction and photobiomodulation next to contributing to various research collaborations within and outside the University. After having graduated in April 2026, Mirriam will begin an internship with Merck and then she is set to start her PhD at Imperial College London in September 2026.
