Roshni Mooneeram

Roshni started her academic career as a postcolonial scholar in the UK, before moving into leadership roles in Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) working globally. She now works as a consultant in EDI with science research institutes (CERN, Vienna Biocenter, EMBL, Friedrich Miescher Institute) and EU institutes (European Parliament/Commission/Court of Justice). Her work aims at leveraging the diversity that makes us human to generate value for science, societies and organisations. Her focus is on enabling the building blocks that help organisations develop inclusive research ecosystems. She has led EDI related transformation programmes in the UK, different part of Europe, Africa and China. As Visiting Expert at the Sino-European Keylab in China, she works on creating collaborative space between Europe and China in EDI policy work. She sits on a number of EDI advisory boards in Europe and is the Director of 1 World Consultancy.
