Biography
Roles and Responsibilities: Managing the day-to-day management and operational delivery of UK DRI’s business operations. Strategic oversight and process optimisation of UK DRI’s operational IT systems, grants and membership management, and reporting obligations. Ensuring operational delivery meets governance requirements and supports the delivery of UK DRI’s ambitious national research programme across the Institute’s seven UK university partners. Managing and supporting the Business Operations Team.
Ross joined UK DRI in January 2026 after 20 years in the events industry. In his business operations roles, he has led large-scale digital transformations, navigated acquisitions and their integrations, and pivoted entire business models —delivering measurable results when it matters most.
When the pandemic shut down the events industry, he built and launched a virtual events division in 8 weeks, delivering 120+ events through new channels to his customers during lockdown.
