Biography
Roles and responsibilities: Sashika leads on the planning and delivery of UK DRI events, including scientific meetings, high-profile launches and public engagement activities working closely with the Research Operations team and centres across the UK to ensure effective delivery.
Previously, Sashika worked at the Parkinson’s and Multiple Sclerosis Tissue Bank at Imperial College London and spent over seven years at the London Neurodegenerative Diseases Brain Bank at King’s College London. She holds a BSc in Neuroscience from the University of Manchester and published her first paper in the Journal of Neural Transmission (2019), titled “Comparison of clinical and neuropathological diagnoses of neurodegenerative diseases.” She is passionate about supporting dementia research through high-quality events, collaboration, and effective operational delivery.
