Biography
Sindhu is a respiratory doctor and academic researcher currently doing a PhD on lung cancer in never-smokers and health data science funded by NIHR and Ruth Strauss Foundation. She is particularly interested in early detection of cancer and health inequalities. She set up the OLIVE PPI group comprising of patients representing different age groups, genders, ethnicities and sexualities and regularly meets with them to ensure diverse perspectives are incorporated into academic research.
